Since 2009, GypsyAid, the social outreach branch of Hungarian Gypsy Missions International, has been offering practical, hands-on support to families facing hardship. Through a network of 13 CharityPoints across Hungary, we collect and distribute essential donations—such as clothing, shoes, household items, and toys— while also sharing the hope and truth of the Gospel.
A cornerstone of this effort is the Pepita Donation Center, where high-quality donated goods are made available at symbolic prices. This model not only maintains the dignity of those we serve but also helps fund additional assistance programs, including the provision of firewood and non-perishable food.
We invite you—whether as an individual, community group, or organization—to join our expanding circle of supporters. While material donations remain our primary need, we also welcome financial contributions and long-term partnerships that enable us to extend our reach and impact.

What is the Pepita Donation Shop?
Pepita is a donation-based charity shop run by the Hungarian Gypsy Missions International in Békés. It sells donated goods at symbolic prices to support families in need.
Who benefits from Pepita?
Primarily families living in poverty within a 25–30 km radius of Békés. The proceeds help provide food, firewood, and emergency relief.
What can I donate?
We welcome quality clothing, shoes, household goods, toys, small furniture, and kitchen items. All
items must be in good, usable condition.
Do you accept donations from abroad?
Yes! We already have international partners and are open to structured collaborations that involve regular shipments or collection drives.
How can I partner with you?
You can partner by organizing collection drives, setting up regular donation shipments, or supporting financially. We’re happy to schedule a meeting to discuss how best to work together. Email us at donations@gypsymissions.org to get started.
What happens to the money raised from the shop?
All proceeds go directly to our social outreach work—buying firewood, food, and providing emergency aid to the most vulnerable.
Can I donate new items?
Absolutely. New items are especially appreciated and often provide much-needed dignity to those we serve.
