Spiritual warfare was the central theme of a seminar jointly organized by Prepare International and Hungarian Gypsy Missions International in Békés. In the latest session of the training series, two speakers from the United States shared their experiences and Bible-based teachings with the participants.
The training aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of spiritual principles and prepare them for the challenges of everyday faith. Callie Boyd, a trainer from Prepare International, emphasized:
“We want to act as a catalyst in the lives of believers, initiating a process where people disciple one another. The Roma community is particularly open to the supernatural, making it crucial for them to understand the spiritual principles essential for a successful life of faith.”
The international organization’s staff has ministered to Roma communities on multiple occasions, including in Macedonia and Albania. According to the speakers, Roma communities have faced significant challenges throughout history, making it even more important for them to gain solid, Bible-based knowledge.
Another speaker, Tori Mitchell, highlighted:
“We hope that after this training, participants will return home with knowledge that will help them advance in their ministry.”
The training sessions initiated by the mission aim to equip participants with well-founded Christian teachings and practical guidance. Programs like these not only strengthen faith but also contribute to the spiritual and personal growth of communities.
