The Hungarian Gypsy Missions International and the Christian organization Prepare International organized a two-day seminar in Békés, during which the mission’s educators once more gained valuable insights. The aim of the event was to lay the foundations for kingdom-centered thinking and to acquire the knowledge necessary for the churches to function as effectively as possible.
The seminar’s speaker was Josiah Boyd, originally from the United States but currently living and working in Krakow, Poland. At 36 years old, Josiah Boyd is active in Christian communities and serves as a leader in a church in Krakow. Recently, young members of his community had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of, and members from, Hungarian churches. The Hungarian Gypsy Missions International boasts an extensive international network, with Prepare International being one of its most significant partners.
„Our organization established contact with the HGMI through Ian Green’s involvement, and it is always a great experience for our speakers to participate in the seminars held here,” said Josiah Boyd. „This time, we are focusing particularly on the New Testament and our relationship with Jesus. It is crucial to discover our true identity in Christ, as this is essential for a successful Christian life.”
The experiences gained during the lecture series in recent years have provided a solid foundation for the effective functioning of churches and ministries, and for strengthening communities. The event once again demonstrated that international connections and training of this nature are key to the development and strengthening of Christian communities.
